Welcome! I’m Stacey. I’m a US Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist (LDN) registered both in the US (PA, DC, MD) and Singapore (Singapore Nutrition and Dietetics Association) and a certified personal trainer with a BSc in Exercise Science. I am also recognized by The Menopause Society as a Certified Menopause Practitioner.
I’m a midlife, empty-nest mom and “fur”parent , managing all the joys and complexities of my 50s. I have been there…AM there and I want to help you navigate the sometimes crazy, and most time puzzling symptoms and issues that can come up as we transition through this stage of life!
The Joys of Aging!
This is YOUR time!
Peri/Menopause are some of the most under-researched and under-discussed areas of women’s health. I’m on a mission to open the discussion and help you discover the joy in mid-life.
Lack of education around perimenopause and menopause means that women often don’t recognize what they are experiencing and struggle with managing these surprising, confusing, and distressing changes.
Hot flashes, joint pain, night sweats, insomnia, anxiety, and body shifts are just SOME of the challenges women can experience in our 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s. You may also feel your life is a little out of control, have difficulty managing stress, and begin to have health concerns.
But this is also an amazing opportunity to re-evaluate your health, make concrete changes, and take control for the long term.
Cut through the confusion
The mounds of conflicting research and expert opinions around perimenopause and menopause can overwhelm and confuse you when you just want a simple, effective treatment option.
My goal is to help you feel strong and confident. I sift through all the noise and work with you to develop a science-based, simple, sensible, and sustainable plan to fit your individual needs and make you feel better, stronger, and more energetic through your midlife transition and in the long-term.
Whether you are looking for advice on things like how to improve your relationship with food, exercise to help stave off bone loss, how much calcium you need in your diet, or how to reprogram your “all or nothing” thoughts around diet and physical activity, I am here to help!
My approach is not about deprivation. We’ll toss out what hasn’t worked for you, take a holistic look at your nutrition, exercise, and overall health and figure out how to get you healthy now and stay healthy for the future.
Let me help you find a better way; a way that can lead to peace and happiness around food and to the joys of movement! It does exist!
